My name is Aude. I am a recent graduate from UW Madison, and a huge Badger fan! My major was in Biomedical Engineering. I am currently pursuing an MS in engineering. I absolutely love teaching and hope to continue doing it. I started tutoring when I was 15, in the Minneapolis, MN area. I love math, science, and writing, and can help out at the elementary to college levels. I have taught in various capacities and environments; including TAing a college course in mechanics, assisting after-school programs of 50+ students, and working with students individually.

My engineering background has exposed me to varying levels of math and science.
-I can assist with these math subjects: Calculus, Algebra, PreCalc, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, elementary math.
-I am familiar with these science subjects: Physics (mechanics/dynamics), Physics ( electricity and magnetic fields), Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Circuit Design and Prototyping

I love writing in my spare time! I have also helped publish multiple academic papers and grants.

I have experience teaching various standardized exams, and scored highly in each:
- GRE: 167 Math ,160 Verbal, 5/6 Writing (94/85/94 percentile)
- SAT: 780 Math, 740 Writing, 650 Reading (98/98/84 percentile)
- ACT: 35 Math, 34 English, 33 Reading, 28 Science (99/98/97/92 percentile)

Additionally, I can help with test prep for various AP subjects. I took these AP exams and scored the following in each:
- Biology (5), Psychology (4), Macroeconomics (5), Human Geography (5), Calculus AB (5), Calculus BC (5), Literature (4), Composition (3), Physics B (4), Environmental Science (5), US Government and Politics (4)

Algebra 1

I have several years of experience teaching algebra to all age groups. As an engineering graduate student, I use algebra and calculus almost every day, so I’m very comfortable with the subject.
Algebra 2,

Algebra 2

I have close to 10 years of experience tutoring math for all age groups. Currently a mechanical engineering PhD student at UT do I use math on a daily basis, including Algebra 2.
Geometry,

Geometry

I have been teaching math, including geometry, for about 10 years. I’ve also work with students on standardized tests, including SAT, ACT, and GRE, which are also quite geometry and trigonometry intensive.

I recently graduated from UW Madison where I majored in Biomedical Engineering, and focused in Mechanics and Material Science. Biomedical Engineering is comparable to a Mechanical Engineering degree, except it is focused at developing medical devices. I also spent nine months working at a company where I was a Mechanical Engineer in product development.

Great Geometry Help!

I loved how Aude used a lot of diagrams and drawings to help me understand because I am a very visual learner. She was kind and patient when I was struggling with something. She is very clear when explaining stuff.

Chloe, 1 lesson with Aude

Aude is a great tutor!

Aude has been so helpful in my preparation for my final exam. She goes over the problem with you. Gives you tips and tricks on how to solve problems.

Natalie, 2 lessons with Aude

Knowledgeable and very helpful.

She went over Newtons Laws and its application on word problems. Also she helped us how to correctly draw Free Body Diagrams and Basic Principles of Forces and some AP Physics 1 College Board questions.
