About Boris

Hello my name is Boris. I'm currently working as an investigator with DSHS and obtaining my doctorates from North Central University. Criminal Justice has been my passion every since I can remember. If your looking for a trustworthy and hardworking tutor look no further.

I have a bachelor's and master's in criminal justice. I'm currently working on my doctorates in business and criminal justice. I ran track and field all 4 years of high school. I compete in spartan races. If you're studying about criminal justice or help you with track I can promise you that I am knowledgeable in the subjects. My professional and educational experience will be a bonus to you.

My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves. My experience has been that one-to-one personal tuition has a unique value to students because of the ability to resolve the students’ personal barriers to learning in a way that lays the foundations for a deep and lasting understanding of the subject. My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. However my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Criminal Justice

I have my masters in criminal justice and security and am currently obtaining my doctorates in this subject as well. My career history is also criminal justice based as well.

Track & Field

I participated in track all four years of high school on varsity team. I compete in spartan races yearly and I'm a certified personal trainer.
