I have 11+ years experience teaching college English at St. Edward's University, and 20+ years corporate marketing / corporate experience managing all aspects of communications: Business plans, press releases, advertising copy and strategy, corporate communications, and more. I've written ad campaigns, lesson plans, articles, business strategies, press releases, blogs, essays, and more. I've edited and proofread dissertations, student essays, magazine articles, and website copy. I've taught kids age 10-20, and I'm an expert on thesis statements, argument, effective essay structure, grammar, and all things in "academic writing," as well as creative thinking.
I can polish up your writing, help you write a superb college entrance essay, sharpen and back your argument, identify your objective and show you how to address it, and show you or your kid how fun and POWERFUL writing can be.
I love writing and I love people. And I love to have fun!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
