Bio

Howdy! My name is Tristan and I'm committed to helping others understand the joy of mathematics. I personally have loved math since I was a kid and have continued to do so ever since. I graduated from Texas A&M University with both a BS and MS degree in Mathematics and I am now a PhD candidate at UT Austin. I have tutored many high school students in subjects such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Statistics, Calculus, Physics, and more! I love being able to assist those who...

Howdy! My name is Tristan and I'm committed to helping others understand the joy of mathematics. I personally have loved math since I was a kid and have continued to do so ever since. I graduated from Texas A&M University with both a BS and MS degree in Mathematics and I am now a PhD candidate at UT Austin. I have tutored many high school students in subjects such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Statistics, Calculus, Physics, and more! I love being able to assist those who need help in these subjects and I would love to share my love of mathematics with your student. I was valedictorian of my senior class in high school so I know what it takes to work hard and understand tough problems. I can assure you that math will become a breeze to your student after working with me!

I've taken many Math courses throughout my education prior to college. I've competed in academic competitions for 7 years and know tricks and tidbits to making Mathematics more comprehensible to the uninterested Math student. My love for Math persisted through college as I majored in the subject and took on Graduate Math courses. Mathematics has always come easy to me and I know with patience and time, I can show your student the same ease.

I've taken three years of Physics in high school, and participated in Physics courses at the college level, earning the highest ranking on 5 placement tests of this subject. I've also competed in academic competitions for Physics and won 1st at the State level during my senior year. I have a Physics minor that can be used to help your students from Mechanics to E&M and even some basic Thermodynamics.

I've worked with 4th graders my senior year as a tutor in writing as well as Mathematics and know the patience required to work with students at this young age. I guarantee I will never give up on students. Their benefit is my first priority, always.
