I am a 3D artist with several years of experience working as a freelancer. I have taught, and continue to teach people how to maximize their time in 3D programs like Maya and ZBrush. I am classically trained in animation, and I teach digital sculpture techniques through my YouTube channel called ZFever.
I am fascinated with our technological potential, and feel truly blessed to be living in such an exciting time. I have worked with some awesome clients like Anki, Inc., and Breakiron Animation. My favorite part about working with people to help them succeed is that moment when they understand a concept. I truly enjoy helping people to improve because I know how much I rely on others at times to improve, myself.
The use of 3D applications is undoubtedly a staple in many industries spanning from architecture to video games, movies, and even the medical field. Learning how to navigate these programs can be a daunting task, but that is why I am here. How can I help you? What are your goals?
In my work, I use many applications. When I am creating an animation or an image, I have to be able to wear several hats, so to speak. Being able to use many of the programs that the Adobe Creative Suite has to offer has helped me tremendously.
Additionally, understanding how to use cameras, and capture my own footage allows me to be my own director. It truly is fun being able to create practically anything that your mind can think of.
Maya is an incredibly powerful tool, and I use it almost daily. It has so much under the hood. You can literally go from 3D modeling to dynamic smoke simulation within a series of clicks. But, as with any 3D software package, understanding how to navigate various situations takes patience, time, and some guidance.
I've been using Maya for over 6 years, now. Each year, Autodesk delivers a new version of the program that tends to out-perform the previous version through new features and processes. However, the basics of the program rarely change, and it is certainly a highly reliable tool to have under your belt. I am a 3D artist with several years of experience working as a freelancer.
