University of Texas at Austin (Biology)
Ciao! My name is Irene and Italian is my first language. I lived in Italy for most of my life(17 yrs) and I've been living in Texas for the past three years! I am attending the University of Texas at Austin and I am majoring in Pre-Medicine /Biology, hoping one day to become a successful doctor. I speak a perfect fluent English.
I have previous experience as an Italian tutor. I have been working with people of all ages, from kids, to teenagers,to adults.
While in Italy I worked a lot as a volunteer tutor at my church. I taught Italian to foreign people that couldn't afford to pay a tutor. I worked for a long time with an Arabic family of two kids and a father.
Here in USA I worked with few families that needed to be relocated for work in Italy and needed to learn the language in a short period of time.
With my teaching method I focus on train the student to understand the Italian language and try to have fluent conversations with them. I promise we are not going to have long and boring lessons trying to figure out every single aspect of the Italian peculiar grammar, but you are actually going to practice in having real and useful conversations with me.
I want to make the lessons fun and enjoyable and I want the student to be able to get a good understanding of the language, as well as be able to speak it pretty fluently.
Living most of my life in Italy I will not only teach you the language, but also the real culture, the culinary art and general lifestyle!
I cannot wait to start teaching you Italian. Arrivederci e a presto! Ciao! My name is Irene and Italian is my first language. I lived in Italy for most of my life(17 yrs) and I've been living in Texas for the past three years! I am attending the University of Texas at Austin and I am majoring in
