I love both shooting AND the creative aspects that come into play once the image has been captured. I have been a photographer for nine years and a user of Photoshop for almost as long. I have recently become proficient in Lightroom as well.
For a semester, I interned alongside Griff Smith, the photo editor at Texas Highways magazine while acquiring my Master's degree from University of Texas at Austin. I was also a teaching assistant for four semesters at UT for a photojournalism class, and later taught that same class as an adjunct professor from 2013-2014.
I have tutored 6th grade reading and 8th grade math, and taught private photography lessons to all ages when I shot on a dude ranch in Colorado.

I was thrilled with my first lesson with Sean. He is well versed in Lightroom and taught me many valuable tips that I'm already putting to use. I can't wait for our next session. Things went so well that I'm already planning on moving on to lessons in Photoshop once we've completed Lightroom.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
