There are few things that I enjoy more than playing poker. There is so much to like about the game and the endless number of dynamics involved during every hand. I've been playing since I was a child and on a regular basis since the mid-90's in cash games throughout DFW and (before children) was a regular tournament and cash game player in Las Vegas and around the World. I enjoy sharing my playing experiences, knowledge of the game, philosophy of good game play, and the psychology behind the players whenever I can. Throughout the past decade, I have privately tutored many individuals on how to better their game. There are so many dynamics to the game that you would spend a fortune acquiring the knowledge at the table or buying and reading enough books to encapsulate it all.
Experience, experience, experience. I have played just about every popular variation of poker for over three decades. In the poker rooms that I frequent, I am a feared opponent and have a reputation of being unsolvable (a very good thing in poker). I have a solid understanding of the psychology, strategy, and mathematics behind the game, whether it be cash games or tournaments.
Open to learn and want to expand your knowledge, confuse your opponents, and leave with more cash in your pockets? We should talk. There are few things that I enjoy more than playing poker. Due to the complexity of the game and the many facets that I cover there is a two hour minimum.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been an avid and regular player of the game for the past 24 years.
I have read every book about the game that is recognized as an authority or referenced as a must read.
I have several thousands of dollars in documented tournament winnings.
