Technology is very important in education because there are many tools for learning online. I always have a lesson plan prepared before the tutoring session and use online tools as visual aids or to help the student grasp a math concept in 3D. I am patient and create a classroom environment based on mutual respect. I am always ready to help students and have student's best interest in mind. Lastly, I always motivate my students and praise their accomplishments. My hobbies are sports, mainly volleyball which I played in college intramurals.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
