About Wasiu

Bio

I'm currently a graduate student working on my PhD at UT Arlington. I have a BS and MS in Chemistry and I also spent a year and a half teaching undergraduate chemistry at various colleges in Houston. I've also spent some time as a math and chemistry tutor in the past 3 years.

I would also consider myself good with standard tests since I scored 1200 on GRE (720 in quantitative). I have never taken the SAT or GMAT exams but I believe I can develop an effective strategy to help prepare for...

I would also consider myself good with standard tests since I scored 1200 on GRE (720 in quantitative). I have never taken the SAT or GMAT exams but I believe I can develop an effective strategy to help prepare for those exams as well.

One key thing about my style of teaching is that I try to use technology, i.e., videos, visual aids etc. as much as possible as long as I think it'll help my students understand what I'm teaching.

GMAT

As a graduate student, I understand that one of the hardest things is to actually get in and this is often because of the tests that are required. The key thing about standardized tests like GMAT is that it's not about residual knowledge but rather, it's about knowing the tips and shortcuts to answer the questions correctly and timely. As a graduate student, I understand this and I can help you develop a strategy to get high scores as well.
GRE,

GRE

The key thing about standardized tests like GRE is that it's not about brute force but rather, it's about knowing the tops and shortcuts to answer the questions correctly and on time. I know this because that's how I aced the GRE and got into my current PhD program. I can help you achieve your academic and professional goals by working with you and sharing the ideas with you.

Very knowledgeable and a very great tutor

Wasiu is a great tutor, he goes at your pace and if you have any questions about something he will explain it. Before I got Waisu I was about 60:40 on understanding chemistry but he worked with me and on my first exam I made a 96! I would recommend him to anyone that wants to learn the subject and make an A in chem.
