I'm currently a post-doctoral research fellow at UT Arlington working in experimental condensed matter/antimatter physics; for which I use MATLAB on a daily basis. Outside of the lab, I've spent the last 5 years alternating between a teaching assistant position for the physics labs at UTA and a tutor in UTA's physics clinic. Prior to attending graduate school, I was employed as a tutor at both UTA's physics clinic and the Tarrant County College Northwest Campus Math Emporium. During this time, I also offered off-campus private tutoring for students studying a wide variety of subjects. Summing these experiences, I have a total of 8 years as a tutor and a teaching assistant.
Thank you very much for your consideration, and I look forward to meeting you,
~Randall
