I'm currently a post-doctoral research fellow at UT Arlington working in experimental condensed matter/antimatter physics; for which I use MATLAB on a daily basis. Outside of the lab, I've spent the last 5 years alternating between a teaching assistant position for the physics labs at UTA and a tutor in UTA's physics clinic. I'm currently a post-doctoral research fellow at UT Arlington working in experimental condensed matter/antimatter physics; for which I use MATLAB on a daily basis. Outside of the lab, I've spent the last 5 years alternating between a teaching assistant position for the physics labs at UTA and a tutor in UTA's physics clinic. Prior to attending graduate school, I was employed as a tutor at both UTA's physics clinic and the Tarrant County College Northwest Campus Math Emporium. During this time, I also offered off-campus private tutoring for students studying a wide variety of subjects. Summing these experiences, I have a total of 8 years as a tutor and a teaching assistant.

I use Matlab daily for working with digital signal processing for nuclear spectroscopy. We use Matlab to analyze signals from detectors and produce histograms based on particular characteristics of the signals, including digital shaping, filtering, and timing of the pulses. I also have some experience with Matlab's App Designer, as well as the neural network package.

As a senior majoring in physics, I have taken both a course in differential equations as well as a course covering an introduction to partial differential equations. During this time, I frequently tutored my fellow classmates covering the more difficult topics covered in these courses. As a course covering an introduction to partial differential equations should, in-depth topics in ordinary differential equations were frequently discussed, allowing me to attain a broad understanding in both subjects.

Linear Algebra is a subject I have dealt with extensively, applying methods of linear algebra in courses such as Mathematical Methods of the Physical Sciences, Introduction to Modern Physics, and, of course, Introduction to Linear Algebra. I have also tutored this subject to engineering students visiting UT Arlington's Physics Clinic.
