I grew up playing soccer and after having my own children, I became a soccer coach. I coached soccer teams for all three of my children. I have had over 10 years experience in coaching soccer. I have coached recreational as well as highly competitive club teams in the North Texas area.
Growing up in South America I have always had a passion for the game. I love coaching children so I can share with them my passion for soccer. I want to instill not only good playing skills but enthusiasm for playing soccer! I feel that kids must be having fun and enjoying themselves to be able to learn to play well. Soccer should be something makes them feel good about themselves!
As a native of Peru, Spanish is my first language and I want to tutor kids to learn the basics of Spanish and how to actually speak it. I feel it is important not only to learn "book Spanish" but to also be able to converse in it.
Before you can teach a language you have to speak the language fluently. I was born in Peru and my first language is Spanish! The Peruvian Spanish is clear and does not use as much slang words as other Spanish speaking countries. To learn a language is very simple...you have to speak and practice.
I have been a player, coach and spectator of soccer since I was a very small child; I have a love and passion for the sport that I enjoy passing on to young players.
My soccer experience included the Denton Soccer Association Boys U6-U12 (7 years) and Girls U6-U11 (5 years); the Plano Soccer Association Girls U12 Pre-club development (1 year); and the Lake Highlands Girls Soccer Association Divisions I and II Girls U13, U14, and U15 (3 years). I have been a club owner and have a coach license "D." I competed in school soccer, high school and college in Lima, Peru.
If you would like to have someone to coach your child good soccer skills in a fun, enthusiastic way or have a child that needs help with Spanish from someone that can help them speak and read and learn conversational Spanish, I am the person to help you. I grew up playing soccer and after having my own children, I became a soccer coach. I coached soccer teams for all three of my children. I have had over 10 years experience in coaching soccer. I have coached recreational as well as highly competitive club teams in the North Texas area.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
