I am a Software Engineering Fellow with a Doctor of Engineering degree who specializes in applying theory and mathematical concepts to practical applications. My objective in every tutoring session is to help students become familiar with the fundamental concepts, then lead the students through the thought process of converting problems to mathematical equations and solving these equations to answer the original problem. I have tutored both high school and college students along with developing and teaching advanced engineering courses in the industry classroom environment. Also, multiple presentations were developed to encourage high school students to take science and math classes and they were presented to over 1000 students.
I am proficient in algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, circuits, physics, and C++ programming. My experiences have transformed progressive mathematical theories, system engineering principles, and physical ideas into practical industry solutions. I am also proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Microsoft Office applications
I am available Monday through Saturday from 9am to 8pm and will travel to the student preferred locations. Contact me for additional details and to schedule tutoring sessions. Mr. Max L. is an excellent and knowledgeable tutor. He was very patience, making Geometry so much more simple and interesting for my son.
Max L. reviewed the fundamentals of Geometry and make sure my son understand critical concepts before he move on. We will definitely continue use his services.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Algebra 1 is a course in understanding mathematical expressions. I am very familiar with these concepts and have used them throughout my education and career. My understanding of expressions, equations, and functions allows me to improve the student’s ability and strengthen their confidence during tutoring sessions.
Algebra 2 is a fundamental course for becoming a scientist because it teaches students how to develop equations using multiple variables and their relationships to other numbers. I understand the algebraic principles and have applied these theories throughout my education and engineering experiences.
Prerequisite math courses, calculus, and circuits are only the first courses in a long series of my coursework. I have multiple electrical engineering degrees and took several mechanical engineering courses, then applied these courses in diverse industry applications. I have recently tutored multiple college students in calculus.
Algebra and geometry are prerequisite courses in the development of mechanical drafting, calculus, physics and my subsequent coursework. The geometry principles were applied throughout my engineering coursework and professional experiences to visualize two- and three-dimensional objects; especially, in coordinate transformations and vector calculus. I am an experienced tutor and have recently tutored multiple students in geometry.
I have multiple electrical engineering degrees and took several mechanical engineering courses, then applied these courses in diverse industry applications. My basic physics course introduced the physical concepts, then each of these concepts were expanded by subsequent courses and professional experiences. My experiences required physical and abstract comprehensions and I have tutored multiple college students in physics.
The prealgebra course is a bridge between elementary mathematics and algebra. The training received in this course was an introduction for my subsequent mathematical coursework and was always used in all of my industry experiences. I am an experience tutor and have recently tutored multiple courses that uses these algebraic principles.
Algebra, geometry, and trigonometry were prerequisite courses for calculus and subsequent coursework. I have successfully completed over 100 hours of college math courses and applied mathematical theories in diverse technical applications. Many of these courses and applications required me to be proficient in the basic math fundamentals learned. I am an experienced tutor and have recently tutored multiple students in precalculus.
Trigonometry is a perquisite for calculus and it includes the fundamental and widely used theories in higher forms of math. I have tutored multiple students in trigonometry and used the trigonometric principals extensively in subsequent courses and industry, especially in coordinate transformation and signal processing applications.
