Hi there, I'm George! I'm a PhD student studying Clinical Psychology at Vanderbilt University, and I love learning about and teaching statistics and psychological concepts. Hi there, I'm George! I'm a PhD student studying Clinical Psychology at Vanderbilt University, and I love learning about and teaching statistics and psychological concepts. My tutoring process focuses on your experiences and goals, and I believe my role is to provide you with the tools you need to achieve success by listening to, learning from, and collaborating with you. Tutoring is my passion, and my experiences teaching high-school, college, and post-collegiate students over the past seven years have only increased my love of teaching. Whether you are looking for support with your course work, standardized tests, or even developing new skills for work, I will be with you every step of the way to ensure that you achieve your goals. I believe that learning requires collaboration, so my role is not just to give you information, but to listen to you and understand your perspective so that we can develop your knowledge and comprehension together.

I first discovered my passion for teaching in college. At the time, I offered free tutoring to high school students preparing for the ACT, often working with 20 or more students at a time on all aspects of the ACT. After college, I was hired by Kaplan to work with high school students on the ACT and SAT. Over time, I became proficient in the GRE and GMAT as well, and taught collegiate and post-collegiate students who were preparing for careers in healthcare, business, and more! These experiences clarified my love for working with students of all ages and led me to realize that my ability to develop expertise in a diverse range of subjects allowed me to provide high-quality lessons to my students and to maximize their preparation.

George truly is the definition of a live saver... I am a graduating business student at Drexel University, and George has helped me BEYOND WORDS through my last quarter of school. I am taking an online marketing statistics class that requires the use of SPSS. Unfortunately my professor hasn't been the most helpful, and without ever using SPSS I was completely lost until I found George. He is always available for his students and he always ensures that the lesson gets completed without any questions when you are finished. My only regret is not meeting George SOONER in my college/academic career. The guy is passionate about teaching and is all around the best tutor on the market... 10/10 Recommend to ANY student looking for help, George is your man.

George taught me how to work with Rstudio; he started by teaching the basics since I never worked with Rstudio, then as I advanced I learned more and more. We had many technical issues with my Mac and my Windows and Goerge was very patient along the way. He let me to do multiple trouble shootings. I wanted to do PS matching for a very large dataset with many covariates. It was not an easy job to do but George found the right code and taught me how to use it. At the end, before charging my credit card, he emailed me confirming the hours which I found very nice of him and we both came to an agreement. Thank you George!
