My mission is to make your life easier, and help you achieve your goals

I'm Keith, I'm a mechanical engineer with a love for math and science. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering, I am a certified Project Management Professional, I have scored 5/5 on the AP Calculus BC Exam, 800/800 on SAT math, 35/36 on ACT math, and 33/36 on ACT Science. Throughout my career I have discovered that I have a real passion for helping others grow. I enjoy helping my students not only comprehend math concepts but also master them. Nothing makes me happier than when a student suddenly has that "a-ha!" moment, and everything makes sense.

I always knew I had a passion for mathematics and sciences, and it upsets me to hear that some people felt naturally adverse to math, or that it is something people must be "born gifted" in. Math is a skill that everybody can learn. I believe that mathematics is best learned by understanding the core concepts behind mathematical principles, then strengthening that understanding through examples. Anybody can memorize the steps to completing math problems, but having a true understanding of how the concepts interact and relate with each other is the key to thriving. Math is a language that my students become fluent in. That is why my lessons focus first with simple and straight forward examples so my students can build a strong foundation of the theory and feel confident moving forward with tackling advanced coursework.

I would be excited for the opportunity to help any students that have a desire to excel in math or science at any grade level, along with any students that are hoping to ace the SAT and ACT. My lessons and coursework are tailored to the individual so that my students have the best chance to succeed. I am available every day of the week, and can meet at your house for in-home tutoring or any nearby public library in the Nashville area. I am easy to reach and will always respond as fast as possible, so contact me for additional information or to schedule a lesson today!

Project Management,

Project Management

I have earned my certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute, earning Above Target (AT) in all five areas of the PMP exam. I have served as a project manager in the heavy manufacturing industry for projects ranging in value from $1MM to $10MM. As an engineer I understand the importance of utilizing a strong project management framework to ensure a project's success. While it is important to have the technical skills to execute work, it is equally important to have the well developed project management foundation to formulate an effective plan and adhere to it to ensure project success. In preparation for the PMP exam I utilized project management workshops, virtual courses, textbook prep material, and practice exam apps/websites. I know full well how intimidating the exam may seem, but I am confident that I can help all aspirants pass on their first attempt just like me. If you are a PMP hopeful and seeking extra help to pass the exam, reach out today!

Great job

Very responsive when scheduling. Prior to the lesson, Keith took the time to find out specifically what my son's issue was, so he could be prepared. The lesson was helpful and gave my son a better understanding of the topic.

Thank you, Keith.

Keith did a very good job of assisting us with profile issue we were having. He was diligent in working with us to understand the problem and assist with a solution. We are just getting our 3D program installed and needed assistance with understanding the nuances of the program. Keith was able to do so. We would use him again in the future when needed.

The best ACT Math Tutor!

Keith B. has already improved my 12th grade daughter's overall math comprehension after just one lesson. He came totally prepared to deal specifically with the ACT math portion, and I've little doubt he will be fully capable to teach her the Science as well. This is the best ACT Math Tutor we have dealt with -anywhere- and we will stick with him to get a greatly improved score.

Fantastic Tutor

Keith was an extremely helpful tutor! I was looking to refresh up on Algebra as it helps with my line of work dealing with programmable logic controllers. Keith did a great job of explaining complex concepts and providing practice problems to help me understand how they relate to my work. I'm looking forward to my next lesson with him and I would highly recommend him!
