Victoria did a great job and got my son off to a good start. She was prompt, professional, and well prepared for the session. My son was happy with what he had learned and is looking forward to the next lesson.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
In addition to my Bachelor's Degree in Digital Animation which requires a heavy amount of drawing/illustrating, I also have an Art Minor from Middle Tennessee State University which included several professional courses in drawing alone.
I have done professional work in drawing and illustrating for several clients.
I have provided tutoring and instruction for students who have needed help in drawing, at various different skill levels. I am confident that I can help any student improve their craft.
In addition to holding a Bachelor's in Digital Animation, I am very knowledgeable in film production, film theory, as well as film history. I have studied film extensively, and I am very familiar with concepts ranging from camera work to cinematography, from costuming to color theory and set design's impact on a viewer's psychological state.
I have worked on set and directed music videos, both animated and live action, and have worked extensively in editing film.
I have helped students with basic to no knowledge of film learn crucial concepts and theories, and practical applications of these topics both in university and outside university.
Graphic Design has been a crucial keystone in my professional freelance career, as well as part of my education at Middle Tennessee State University. The core concepts of graphic design as well as advanced theories were part of the curriculum for the art program required for all students of animation to take part in and complete.
I have done graphic design work for various clients, ranging from basic logo creation, t-shirt design, mockups, business cards, flyers, cover art, and album cover art.
I have extensive knowledge and experience in the usage of Adobe Photoshop for photoediting, content creation, and typography work, and feel confident in instructing any student in how to better perfect their graphic design skills.
I have directed, produced, and created several music videos as part of my professional freelance career.
I have worked on all aspects of video production, from previsualization to post, working a variety of positions from animator to editor. I have also worked on set for a variety of live venue production events, ranging from the Robin Hood Foundation's Annual Gala to several Dave Ramsey Show events.
I am proficient in the uses of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere, both of which I have tutored students in the usage in, in order for them to be proficient at creating their own content.
