I am from Buffalo, New York and moved down to Millington as an assistant baseball coach at Southwest Tennessee Community College. I've worked with teammates and players with their coursework throughout their collegiate careers. In baseball I've worked with student-athletes ranging from ages 14-21 to help them accomplish their goals both on the field and in the classroom.
My strengths in coursework are business related courses, (accounting/marketing/small business), Algebra I and II, as well as American History. I also am proficient in college and high school level research and writing.
I have taken both high school Algebra I and Algebra II/Trigonometry at the high school and college levels receiving high school averages in both courses of 92+ and A's at the college level.
Received marks of 99 and 100 in Accounting 1 and 2 in high school as well as A's in the courses at the college level.
I have taken various course work at the college level and AP in high school. I also interned with my 8th grade social studies teacher as a senior in high school teaching course content. My greatest strength in this field is Post-WWII but am proficient in all areas.

As a coach you are a teacher at heart that needs to be able to communicate and work with many different kinds of players that learn in their own way. If not for recent curriculum changes at the federal and state levels I would have pursued a career in teaching social studies/American history. I look forward to working with students and helping them accomplish their goals in the classroom. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

American History was my favorite course growing up. I enjoyed it so much I interned with my 8th grade social studies teacher and taught course content to the students as a senior in high school. I received a 4 on both AP U.S. History and AP U.S. Government exams.
I was an all-conference baseball player in the AMCC in 2015. I have coached three years of high school baseball, two in American Legion, and am entering my second at the collegiate level. I also founded my own travel baseball program back home in Buffalo, NY. I have worked with players ranging in age from 14-21.
I have taken both macroeconomics and microeconomics through college. I even took it a step further by enrolling in sport economics by taking the above principles and applying them to sport. I had written a thesis which analyzed the causes for increasing salaries of professional athletes while discussing ethical and moral dilemmas from the effects of our market economy. I received A- marks or higher in all three courses.
With the exception of one minor mistakes due to being up for 36 hours straight on a very simple multiplication/addition problem on a shopping list, it is elementary math and I have a bachelors degree in business while passing all the above much more challenging math tests.
Outside of being 8% off from knowing how much water covers the earth I have exceptional knowledge of geography. Besides the basics of knowing where countries, states, capitals, and significant geographic areas are located I can even go in depth in some countries toward their government and economic standings as well.
I had received a 4 on my AP U.S. Government exam in high school. Outside of having great interest in the subject which fueled my success in it and why I know a lot about it, I have also watched the West Wing in its entirety.
I have used Microsoft Excel on an almost daily basis while running my travel baseball program. I used excel to track statistics in-depth as well as manage budgets. I am fully proficient in all the basic formulas one needs to know to effectively use Excel spreadsheets for daily use.
I was the lead on many college group projects solely responsible for preparing Microsoft PowerPoint presentations and organizing content. I have had a wide array of experience using all the tools Microsoft PowerPoint has to offer to create effective and powerful presentations at the college level.
