I love getting to guide students through math problems in the way that works best for them! I have three years of tutoring experience in a variety of subjects, from middle school science to AP Chemistry and elementary math to Algebra 2. I hold a Tennessee teaching license as well as a Masters of Urban Education, which is in addition my undergraduate degrees in math and philosophy. I am currently a first-year teacher, but eager to work with students of any ability! I am also an avid reader, and I love to cook and do anything outdoors.

I was always kind of a "math guy," ever since middle school. I went to college for engineering and ended up with a math degree, which means I have experience with math at some of the highest levels. Additionally, my Masters degree gives me the qualifications and experience to break concepts down in a way that is most helpful to any student. Classroom teaching is fun, but not nearly as rewarding as individualized tutoring.
