Southwest tennessee community college (Medical Administrative Assistant)
I am currently working with Deaf special needs students who needs extra help at a high school. I have so much patience working with the students who needs help in all subject areas. I can speak well, however, I use American Sign Language daily as another form of communication to better understand what is going on around them. The students are Deaf as well. They are needing sign language to help understand their work better. I absolutely love working with special needs students, they are a joy to work with, they learn so much from me as much as I learn about and from them as well. I know I will love tutoring students who needs help in certain areas that needs improvements. The teaching job helps me love my job more than anything else I have worked for in the past.
I am currently working at a high school where there is a Deaf program. They have a special needs class that help students who needs extra help in all areas. This job helps me learn so much about what I love doing and helping students who needs help with communication as in sign language. I have so much patience with students who are deaf and have special needs. I take the time and patience to work with them in areas that they need or want to understand their work. I am more than willing to take the time to make sure they understand what needs to be done. I have the skills to work with them at their level and help them learn more than what they expected. I want to exceed the students and their parents expectations in education.
I will look forward to hearing from you and help you learn in the areas that you need to work on. I am more than wiling to work with you and your parents in what you need to work on. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
