About Paula

My love for learning foreign languages and helping others to learn different languages, and our culture differences has always been a passion of mine. Beginning early on as a child, I was blessed with parents who supported that love by letting me take classical/vocal music and foreign languages. When a person learns another (Spanish) and music, it opens up a whole new world of communication and this is why I am so dedicated to helping students.

I have eight years teaching ESOL to Adult immigrants whereby I am able to utilize my Spanish speaking skills with students from all over the world. In addition, I have taught Spanish and Music in the City Schools and Music in the Catholic School system. Also, I have a private voice studio comprised of voice students ranging in age from 16-Adults.

I studied Spanish in High School and College, 3 and a 1/2 yrs. and then continued through self-taught CDS for the past 15 years. I also taught Spanish in the City Schools and converse with my Hispanic students as well as attend a Spanish Bible Class. My Italian studies began with my classical vocal studies at the age of 13. Italian was always apart of my music repertoire as I continued my Classical Music studies up to the present day. That's about 25 years.

Dedication to excellence is my motto. I believe one can always learn no matter how advanced they are in their studies.

I encourage students to contact me and ask questions. My time is flexible and I can make time to talk further about how I can help them make their tutoring experience successful.

If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
