I graduated as a General Physician from the University of Panama in 2005, an institution highly recognized for its community and public health orientation. Soon after, I served as a general practitioner in several hospitals in my home country including children’s, maternity, rural, and metropolitan facilities. However, my most relevant experience was achieved as head of the Technological University of Panama’s primary care clinic. Working at this institution for six years, in order to approach health problems detected, I was able to take proactive action with preventive measures through education.
As a native Spanish speaker, I’ve accomplished thirteen years of intensive bilingual-English training. In addition, I possess competent skills presenting lectures and conferences to a variety of professional and non-professional audiences. Furthermore, I have provided considerable information with the corresponding didactic activities about health care topics.
I have been also accredited as a Higher Educator in my home country. Consequently, I was a faculty member of the Human Physiology Department at the University of Panama as an Assistant Professor for three years. I also gave tutoring while I was at my medical practice to pre-medicine students.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
-As a Hispanic, my native language is Spanish, and in addition I own excellent spelling, grammar and speech. Being Panamanian we have and impressive lack of any Spanish language accent that will make less difficult its correct learning.
-Besides my main job as a General Practitioner, I have been very popular for my Health Education speeches and essays, which proofs once more my advanced manage of my own language.
-As a Higher Education master I received enough knowledge in regards of the learning process and how to effectively lead students to succeed.
-I worked three years as an Assistant Professor in School of Medicine at the University of Panama, trained by one of the best Medical Sciences Professors in my country.
