I have taught high school and college English in most fields, such as Literature, Developmental English, Composition I and II, World Literature I and II, British Literature, African American Literature, Texuality and Identity and Research. Students rate me a red hot chili which simply means that I am good at what I do. I would like the opportunity to enhance you or students in the fields listed above. One of the things that I enjoy most is seeing the smile on students faces when the lightbulb of learning clicks in there brain. This type of smile influences me to deepen their knowledge even more. I have taught students Developmental English and watched their unsurity or uncertainty take form and fly into the deeper lessons of English. I hope that you consider me as your English professor so that I can continue to watch you growth throughout the sessions and that you come to an understanding that English is a daily opportunity to enhance and grow in any subject matter. I have a B.A. in creative writing and a M.A. in Literature also I have just completed my first novel "A Cold Game".

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
