Work Experience: 25 years corporate experience in Engineering and Business. Corporate experience included working with Fortune 500 corporations: Sonoco, Dover Elevator, and FedEx Express. Ability to apply theoretical concepts and relate them to solving both theoretical and practical problems. Worked extensively with analyzing statistical data, and developing analytical models to evaluate and improve a business environment for maximum profit and efficiency.

I am able to work effectively with adults, teenagers, and small children. I believe the key to education is training the student to think about solutions with a new and different approach. If a student isn't grasping the concepts being conveyed by the traditional class instructor, then maybe it's time for a change. The classroom teacher doesn't normally have time to focus on the problems of every student; they try generalize and provide a broad stroke solution. Unfortunatley, this approach doesn't overlap well with the goals of a student that is looking to separate him or herself from the pack. This is where I separate myself from the classroom instructor; I dedicate my full attention to the personal success of one versus many.

I have subject matter expertise in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics(with MS Excel, SPSS), and Business. If you are having issues with any of these subjects and need a tutor that can bring clarity to your confusion, then don't hesitate to email me.

ACT Math,

ACT Math

I always advise my students that the ACT Math portion is about working different type problem sets through repetition. Students should be able to identify the different type problems on the test: ratio, probability, geometrical, algebraic, etc. Once you have identified the problem type, your experience gained through practice will assist you in resolving the problems. Don't initially focus on speed. The ability to work through problems quickly only can come after you have gained experience with the different types of problems.
