If you need that qualified someone to encourage you to do your best, then look no further.

As a graduate holding three degrees (undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D.) and an attendee of several educational institutions both here and abroad, I can provide the private attention in tutoring at your home or in my office at my home.

If you need help in ironing out those wrinkles in your English composition, or are struggling to read for a Bible or theology course, my expertise is ready at hand. I can teach beginning and intermediate level Greek. You will learn how to speak as a native, and if your are serious about New Testament studies, I can coach you with Ancient "Koine" Greek, the language God used to inspire the life of Jesus, and the history of the early church and its letters.

Public Speaking

Public Speaking

I have been a public speaker since 1991. My training has included academic courses in homiletics, the science of public speaking, at undergraduate and graduate level. My own sermons are available on the internet and have been downloaded over 10,000 times. I can assist with the traditional method of the threefold focus: logos, ethos and pathos. Logos refers to the actual content of the prospective speech. Spoken words need to be crafted differently than the written word. Literary and particularly oral aspects of the prepared speech are important. Ethos has to do with one's own character and beliefs as it impacts the message to be delivered. And pathos has to do with the intensity of belief and feelings that are communicated with the aims of persuasion and influence. Posture and movement is also significant. Coordination of gestures with points of emphasis during oral presentation may enhance the overall impact of the talk. Emphasis is placed on my own approach to speaking without notes. This will free the speaker and allows greater communication, especially eye contact, and rapport with the audience.

Corporate Training

Greek,

Greek

I am a bilingual person. My upbringing was by native Greek speakers as both of my parents are from Cyprus. I was born and raised in England. Since I was a small boy both English and Greek are the languages spoken in my home. In addition to be a native speaker of contemporary Greek, or demotic Greek as it is technically known, I have also studied ancient Greek at both undergraduate and graduate level. I had a year of Koine Greek, the language of the New Testament in my Bible College. Also, in My Master of Divinity studies I was exempted from elementary Koine Greek, but was required to take an intermediate Koine Greek course to get an additional credit.

I am currently home-schooloing my own four boys, aged 8-17. I spent a year working at Westwood Elementary school in Manchester, TN as an Inclusion Aide during the 2009/2010 academic term. During that time I was responsible to work with children on a personal basis to help them with their tasks in class and so foster their continued inclusion with other students. My subject areas of teaching and assisting were Science, Social Studies, Reading, English Composition, English Grammar, and preparing students for their reading tests.

History

Bible Studies,

Bible Studies

I have an undergraduate degree in Bible and theology and a Master of Divinity degree with focus on Bible, Theology, and pastoral ministries. My Ph.D. in theology is from an accredited theological seminary, and I have pastored churches for more than 20 years. My expertise in the Bible is not only due to my training but also the ability to read the Greek New Testament and to do original language study in the Hebrew Old Testament. Furthermore the Bible has been the book I have exposited in my church ministry since 1991.
Religion,

Religion

I have been a pastor for more than twenty years. During this long season of ministry I have taught the Bible for the benefit of church attendees. In addition to my preaching and teaching of religious material, I have taught religious courses for University and Seminary students through on-line distance learning programs as a professor at Grace Evangelical School of Theology and Luther Rice Seminary and University.
