I have worked in the past for two years as a substitute teacher in elementary, middle, and high school levels. I love to learn and share what I learn with others. I am driven by a desire to succeed and help others succeed as well. I have tutored students before as well. I have also used tutoring services for myself and know how much it can help.

I was an ambassador for Everest University where I assisted new students and returning students alike in resolving issues they may have had or setting them up with a tutor in a class they might need help with or tutored them myself. I still help students that I attended college with on different reports or assignments that they might need assistance with. My desire to learn is also driven by my desire succeed and help others in any way that I can. I was adopted at age five and have a dream of starting a children's home one day along with a safe place for those dealing with abuse.

Prealgebra and algebra 1 are classes that I have taken and was successful at. I have tutored in these classes before and feel that with the resources I have and a desire to help having beneficial resources make me a good tutor. I understand the need for help at times and do not look down on anyone for having a disadvantage in certain subjects. I feel that anyone can overcome challenges as long as they face them head on and are not afraid to ask for help when it is necessary.

I learned sign language as a third grade student and have continued to use it throughout my life. I currently have a deaf roommate that I communicate with on a daily basis. We have taught each other and still learn when it comes to communicating with each other. I have taught sign language classes at church and have a desire to reach a deaf community that would not otherwise be active in their communities without people that they can communicate with. Every individual wants to feel important and giving them an avenue to make a difference gives them worth and purpose.
