My education and job credentials have given me ample experience in writing, editing, cultivating my skills, and working with others. In fact, for the past four years, I have worked with writing and editing on a daily basis.

I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Rhetoric, and Writing, meaning I am familiar with how to properly write, edit, and follow certain writing formats. I have also worked as a journalist for the Herald Newspapers in Seymour and South Knoxville for six months, where I have gained new skills, such as communicating with others and paying attention to detail.

I have also worked directly with editing. A family friend wrote a book last year, and I was the main editor for the book. The book, AI Rising, can now be found on Amazon, Kindle, Audible, and many local bookstores sell the book as well. While working at the Herald Newspapers, I held the position as the paper’s main editor for a month while the editor was out of town.

I am confident that my experience in writing and editing qualifies me for the freelance resume writer position as I have gained the necessary skills for this job throughout my education and experience, such as time management, solid organization, and exemplary writing and verbal communication skills. I look forward to meeting with you to help solidify your writing skills.

Because I hold a bachelor's degree in English, I know the amount of work that goes into a single essay. I feel that I can easily relate to students and the frustrations they face while writing because I faced the same frustrations, even as someone who dedicated her college career to writing. Throughout my education and career, both of which heavily involve writing, I feel I have learned quick fixes to help writing seem less painful. I give ample feedback, criticisms, praise, and help when needed.

I am willing to help those who may find writing to be a boring task or a headache. I get it-- I've had the same struggles! Writing doesn't have to be a chore. I want to help students overcome the daunting task of writing through providing feedback, praise, examples, and help.
