Hi there! I am an elementary education major with 2 years of experience as a classroom teacher. I have taught both 4th and 5th grade and have previous practicum experiences with third grade, second grade, and kindergarten. The best part about tutoring is being able to work one on with with students so I can fully address their educational needs.

Approved subjects
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Common Core
I have two years of experience teaching with Common Core standards. Also, I was trained to teach with Common Core during my four years of undergrad. Common Core is all I've ever known and I believe in it!
Elementary (K-6th)
I was an elementary teacher for two years. I have taught fourth grade and fifth grade. I also have experience with the lower grade levels.
