I was also an instructor undergrad courses for five years (though I recently quit and took a researcher job in Oak Ridge, TN), in International Relations, US Foreign Policy, or Terrorism Studies.

I'm also a graduate of Duke University with a B.S. in Psychology and George Washington University with an M.S. in Forensic Science. Outside academia, I've spent time working in public policy on issues dealing with bioethics-stem cell research and cloning, medical research, and worked as an lecturer and instructor for a museum in Washington DC. In the latter position, I routinely worked with and taught school groups of all ages.

I'm comfortable tutoring many subjects, but some of my favorites are Physics, Math, English, and Chemistry. Writing is a side project, something I do in my downtime for fun, so I am well-versed in grammar, critical reading, and several forms of writing (from fiction to research paper). I also enjoy tutoring students for Test Prep, including the SAT, ACT, GRE and the AFOQT.

I am also a big basketball fan (particularly college...Go Duke!) and love to read and write mystery novels! I have two books published under the "pseudonym" J. Robert Kinney, with more planned on the way.

Great, Patient, and Knowledgeable Tutor

Justin has taken a challenging subject (physics) and patiently made it more accessible and understandable for my son. He took the time to understand my son's academic strengths and link the physics lessons to those strengths when he could. He is very prompt in both responding to correspondence and in showing up for sessions.
