My first teaching experience began, in an unexpected and unconventional way. I remember stumbling upon a flyer in the Biology building during college, inquiring for a tutor to help their high school daughter with her Honors Biology course. I needed a job at the time so I took a chance and called the number on the flyer. It turned out to be one of the most memorable and pivotal moment in my life. I was on track to becoming a veterinarian, which is all I had ever thought I wanted. I have a Biology degree with a Zoology emphasis, which my college recommended for all pre-veterinary students. I have taken various Biology related courses such as zoology and animal physiology, as well as Statistics, Physics, and various Chemistry's, such as Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry.

I am excited to meet you and help you along this amazing journey! My first teaching experience began, in an unexpected and unconventional way. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
