I have been teaching for years but what makes me unique is that teaching is my calling, so I rely on God for wisdom in how best to help a student. I treat each child as if they were my own and once they have entered my life I am invested in that child (calling to check in, attending events/games when invited and if my schedule permits , etc) to show my support. I am dedicated to life long learning which is why I am currently working on my doctorate degree. I have a unique way of pushing students beyond their threshold in order to get the best possible success in a short amount of time. As a matter of fact I have had parents call to thank me since their child (former students of mine) have ranked as some of the highest on TCAP assessments. I have also had higher grade teachers show appreciation toward me for making it easier for them to teach my former students. If your child and I are a great fit, you won't be sorry.??
The majority of my Kindergarten students excelled from a Pre-A reading level to above level (1st-4th grade) by the end of the school year. I am now a first grade teacher and every parent wanted their chd to loop up with me so that I'd have my same class. They have also asked that I loop again to 2nd if possible. This shows the parents' belief in my working with their child. So if you are READY to learn and be among the best, I can get you there!
Teaching math is easy and fun! Once your foundational skills ate set it would be nearly impossible for you to fail going forward. My students have been some of the highest performing through all years of teaching.
I love coming up with different ways to make learning sounds and letters fun and quick.
I work only with students who are eager to learn and whose parents foster the learning; who holds me, their child and themselves accountable. I would love for you to contact me so that we can see how great we fit! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

1st grade teacher. Some of my students are now reading on 4th grade level. I'm a doctoral student in education. My passion is to make sure all my kids can read and write well. I treat all my students as if they were my own. My price may be high but my work is guaranteed as long as your child wants to learn.
