After graduating high school in 1997 with a 3.4 GPA I attended Bethune Cookman University as a student athlete for 3 years while studying computer information systems. I chose to take advantage an opportunity to play professional baseball after my 3rd year in college. Since my professional career as a baseball player has ended I have gained lots of valuable experience in professional business areas of manufacturing and office/call centers. Currently, I am a process lead at a retail store and have an interview for the assistant store manager position coming up. I am a certified forklift driver, have attained several excellent customer service awards, and was chosen as a member of the 1997 Who's Who Among American High School Students. Reading and mathematics are a staple in most jobs in the business environment and I have been exercising those skills for the last 15 years.
I have been very involved in my son's academics over the past 8 years and will have my Business Management Degree from Fortis College this winter.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
