Hi! My name is Liz, and I am a recent Honors graduate of Vanderbilt University (majoring in Medicine, Health, and Society and Communication of Science and Technology) and current medical student at the University of Tennessee.
I have experience tutoring a variety of subjects including college admissions tests (ACT, SAT, PSAT), writing, sciences, and French horn. I have recent insight that can help you to achieve good scores and gain admission. As a member of the ACT 36 Club and National Merit Scholar, I can share tried and true in-test and test preparation strategies that I also learned from tutoring! As a current (and perpetual) student, I know the importance of knowledge, critical thinking, and learning strategies and am dedicated to helping you to improve not only your scores, but also your learning experience.
In addition to my studies in medicine, I am also a musician with experience performing in and leading a variety of college-level ensembles including marching band (acting as Drum Major), concert band, orchestra (acting as Orchestra Manager and principal horn), and various types of chamber ensembles. I have voluntarily tutored middle-school and high-school students in horn for over two years.
Contact me to learn more and schedule lessons! Whether you are preparing for a test, working on school assignments, or learning a new skill, I am here to support you every step of the way and share my passion for learning.
