Hi! I'm Michelle, a university student of Mathematics, Music, and Education planning to graduate in May of 2019. Hi! I'm Michelle, a university student of Mathematics, Music, and Education planning to graduate in May of 2019. I started tutoring mathematics in high school when I realized that I could fit a need in the educational world. My classmates asked me for help outside of class and after we talked about it, they could tackle their work. Most students come to math class already thinking that they will not succeed, and it is just not true. Math at its essence is just like a beautiful language waiting to be uncovered. Helping people speak the language of math so that they can tackle their problems is one of my great joys.
My first tutoring students learned a lot from me -- but I learned even more from them. That was over seven years ago, and I have been privileged enough to share learning experiences with hundreds of students since. I've had experience tutoring Elementary Math, Pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-calculus, Calculus, Calculus II, Calculus III, and Statistics. My favorite part of being a tutor is witnessing as my students move from confused and concerned to knowledgeable and confident. My students are a blessing to me as we continue to learn together.
If you or someone you know would like to become one of my students, please feel free to send me a message. I look forward to hearing from you!
