University of Tennessee (2D Fine Arts)
Hi! I'm Grace, and I am a student at the University of Tennessee studying 2D Fine Arts. I concentrate in photography and printmaking, and am a current senior. I study all types of printmaking, though screenprinting is my favorite, and both digital and film photography. In my classes, I frequently collaborate with other students to help them learn the concepts of what we are studying. I've always enjoyed helping people, and I used to want to be an art education teacher. While that is no longer my dream, I still enjoy helping people who want to learn!
Outside of academic art, I love to craft. I am a frequent scrapbooker, maker of crocheted things, book and paper maker, and photographer of interesting things. I am also involved in the University Housing at my university, working in residence halls and putting on programs for the residents, making Housing a Home! I'm a friendly person, and love to make new friends and create new things.
I always received As in my high school and college literature classes and love to read! If you need tutoring, I'd be able to read a book along with you and offer any help necessary to help you succeed.
I'd love to help you with any of your tutoring needs! Hi! I'm Grace, and I am a student at the University of Tennessee studying 2D Fine Arts. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have two years of fine art photography training. I study film and digital photography, and am proficient in all of the skills required. In film, I shoot and develop my own black and white film, as well as make prints of my photos from negatives. Digitally, I shoot, edit, blend, and alter photos on several levels, and am proficient in PhotoShop. I am very good at finding solutions to any creative problem I come across.
