About Kevin

Just finished 5 years as an adjunct professor teaching up to 25 different college level classes ranging from Electronics, to Computing, to Programming, to General Studies. Prior to that I was an SAT, ACT, and GMAT instructor for Kaplan Test Prep.

I have over 25 years experience in Information Technology and have presented many topics at national conferences. A large portion of my background has been around data, databases, data transformation, computing architecture, business intelligence and analytics.

I have successfully completed my BSEET, and MBA degrees in addition to FLMI and ACS certifications. Much of my career has been focused on either engineering or business and both have required extensive math skills.

Having taught the ACT and SAT prep courses in addition to having an MBA lends to teaching a student to prepare for a test such as this.

I have been in Information Technology for over 25 years and hold advanced level skills in many areas.

One of my passions in life is learning new things but another passion is sharing them. I enjoy (1) meeting new students, (2) understanding the challenges of each student, and (3) helping the students meet their goals to better their situation.

I provide diverse and extensive experience to customize the learning experience for each student using real-world example that students can relate to.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
