As a French native, I love sharing the French language and culture. I'm a certified teacher in France. Ever since I moved to the United States over twenty years ago, I have been tutoring in French at all levels (elementary, middle school, high school, college and adults wishing to learn or perfect language skills). My experience has taught me how to guide students through their learning experience and to make the lessons interesting by providing cultural relevance.
I will tailor lessons according to your needs and design them to provide a unique variety of language activities. I also like to give homework so that the student stays in contact with the language between lessons (practice makes perfect). Whether you are starting with the language, a student needing help in school or college, or have always dreamed to make it a hobby, I will be glad to help and share my passion for French. I can tutor in person or online. I'm also available for homeschooling.
Contact me if you need more information or if you wish me to be your French Tutor! Bonjour,

I thoroughly enjoyed my lesson with Claire. She is a wonderful teacher and I recommend her to anyone and everyone who is interested in learning or brushing up French speaking skills.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
