I hold a bachelor's degree in music, and an associate of applied science degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering Technology. The Engineering Technology degree is recent, so I have had math classes up to Calculus I in recent years.
I graduated Summa cum Laude with my most recent degree, and maintained a 4.0 GPA at Chattanooga State Community College. I worked part-time as a tutor at Chattanooga State my second year there, and I was able to help several students during that time.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
