I used to work at a learning center for 4 years in Miami, Florida. Some of the classes that I liked the most were teaching younger students. I also had the opportunity to be a tutor with another company and help students with their spanish, mathematics, and science projects for the school.
I have successfully completed all of the ESL classes and have resided in the U.S. For 11 years. I have a firm grasp of the English language and am completely fluent in both the spoken and written aspects of the language.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
