I can find the writer within a student and I can bring mathematics alive in a way that few can. Having taught writing for 28 years, using a more unique system that revolutionized English about 30 years ago. Having taught inmates in prison to pass the GED; I showed them how if they would write a paragraph, I would show them how to write an essay from that information. None that I worked with failed the writing segment. As a professor, I have received rave reviews from students; I will share a few cases with you; one military member received praise for his improved reports after being in my class for four weeks, he began instructing others. I have had four students inspired to write books, one (a 42 year old nurse) wrote her first essay in my class. For six years, I was the only 5 star (rated by students) instructor on campus!
I adapt easily to the needs or number of students. I first find your strengths and weaknesses and focus on those to close the gap to bring you up to par and beyond. I do not settle for average. Again, I have tutored several and can make a huge increase in a short time period.
