With a strong background in math, many problems in the field become easier. And I've also seen a lot of student suffering the up level class in college because of lack of math skills . Therefore, I put some effort on math while raising my own kids, and found that teaching math is a fun job for me. I especially enjoy the moment when my students discovered the beauty of math. Those wow moments.
I do believe that each individual has their unique strengths. I would like to have all of my students challenged and pushed to their full potential. This will, of course, require a good understanding of and communication with students. Working with individual students from time to time will allow students to gain knowledge at their own pace.
I always have a strong interests in math. Having a lot of fun working with my kids for the math problems. They were doing great in AMC and Mathcounts contest. I would love to teach students with an interest in competitive math.
