Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have a B.A. in Math from Occidental College; I have a B.S. in Math/Computer Science from Armstrong Atlantic. I have taught high school math in Georgia and California. I taught an algebra class at Savannah Technical College to Engineering Technology students. I taught pre-algebra courses on the high school level in Georgia and California. 40 years ago I ran a tutoring service in Tulare County California and tutored a student in algebra at that time.

I have a B.A. in Math; I have a B.S. in Math/Computer Science. I have been certified to teach high school math and physics in 2 states. I taught a math class that included Algebra 2 concepts for Engineering Technology students.

I took a COBOL class while obtaining my B.S. degree in Computer Science. I also taught COBOL at a Technical College for 4 years while serving as a data processing instructor.

I have a B.S. in Computer Science. I taught Data Processing courses at a technical college for 6 years. I was a software engineer/computer programmer for 20 years.

I have a B.S. in Computer Science from Armstrong Atlantic. I taught introductory courses in Computer concepts at Savannah Technical College for 6 years. I taught an intro to computers class at Aiken Tech for 2 years (as an adjunct/part-time instructor.)

I have a B.A. in Math from Occidental College; I have a B.S. in Math/Computer Science from Armstrong Atlantic. I have taught high school math in Georgia and California. I taught Geometry for 1 year in Newbury Park, California. I taught math, electronics, and data processing at Savannah Technical College. I taught part-time at Aiken Technical College in the Computer Technology department. I have also taught at the signal school at Fort Gordon. 40 years ago I ran a tutoring service in Tulare County California.

I have a B.A. in Math, a B.S. in Math/Computer Science, and a teaching minor in Physics. One of the math courses taken was a course in the Calculus of Vector Functions. The first 1/3 of the course covered Linear Algebra. A few of the courses I have completed that require and use Linear Algebra concepts and methods are: Mathematics for the Physical Sciences, Advanced Engineering Math, Numerical Analysis, and Linear Networks & Systems. I have taught some basic Linear Algebra concepts in a Math class and in a Computer Science course for Electronics Engineering Technology majors.

I have a math degree (with a minor in physics) and a computer science degree. I have taken electronic courses with the Army, Georgia Tech, Savannah State, and University of California at Santa Barbara. I spent 20 years as a software engineer. All of these fields require a basic knowledge of logic. One of the courses I took was an electrical engineering course entitled Switching Theory which has a heavy dose of logic as part of the course. Additionally, I have taught Digital Electronics on the Technical College level

I have taken classes in Access and Visual Basic. I taught Access as part of an introduction to Computers class that covered MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access. I programmed in Access and Visual Basic for 10 years.

I hold a B.S. in Computer Science. I have used and taught electronic spreadsheet concepts since their inception. I received an award from the U.S. Army for a spreadsheet I created for their use. I have taught spreadsheet concepts as part of introductory computer courses at both Savannah Technical College and Aiken Technical College. I have created Excel spreadsheets and associated Visual Basic code for use by environmental scientists and engineers. I have used Visual Basic code in Microsoft Access in order to manipulate and control Microsoft Excel spreadsheets that were external to the Access app.

I spent 20 years as a software engineer. 90% of my assignments involved oracle databases. I have experience as a SQL and a pl/sql programmer. I have created or maintained Oracle Forms applications. I have performed some DBA functions. I have taught an Oracle DBA class at a technical college.

I have a B.A. in math from Occidental College. I have been certified to teach high school math in Georgia and California. I taught Pre-Algebra at Bradwell Institute in Georgia, and at Newbury Park High School in California.

I have a B.A. in math from Occidental College and a B.S. in Math/Computer Science from Armstrong Atlantic. I also have a teaching minor in (Calculus-based) Physics. I have taken several math classes that were part of Electrical Engineering Masters Degree programs at Georgia Tech and University of California at Santa Barbara. I have taught math courses both at the High School and Technical College levels. I have tutored previously as a community service. I have also run my own math tutoring service for a short period of time.

I have a Computer Science degree from Armstrong Atlantic. I was a software engineer for 20 years and provided programming support for several and varied databases used by Department of Energy contractors. I was involved with many database migrations, during the course of which SQL skills were critical. I have used SQL with Oracle databases and with SQL Server databases.

I have taken statistics courses at Armstrong Atlantic, Georgia Tech, and with the U.S. Army. I have taken electrical engineering courses from Georgia Tech, Savannah State, and the U.S. Army. I have taken a probability course with Cal State Bakersfield. I have taught math on the high school level for 4 years, have taught in the Electronics Engineering Technology department and in the Data Processing department at Savannah Technical College for 6 years. I have taught part-time in the Computer Technology Department at Aiken Tech.

I have a B.A. in math from Occidental College, a small academically elite liberal arts college also attended by Barrack Obama. I have been certified to teach high school math in Georgia and California.

I spent 20 years as a software engineer. For the last 10 years, the applications I coded and maintained used MS Access as a frontend and Oracle databases as a backend. Coding for the applications was done in VB6. We began using VB .Net for new applications during the last 4 or 5 years. We began migrating Access/VB6 applications to VB .Net.
