Hello everyone! I am a sophomore chemistry major at Lander University. Hello everyone! I am a sophomore chemistry major at Lander University. I have taken every math up to college calculus II (excluding probability and statistics), including 4 years of engineering classes and even calculus based physics, and have never failed a single one. In college, I took a class practicum to learn how to effectively tutor. Once I had passed that, I tutored calculus I for the Academic Success Center for a semester.

I would love to help you through any particularly difficult sections by showing some of my personal tips and tricks that I have learned along the way. My goal would be to set you, the student, up for success and further knowledge of math in hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

I have never received lower than a B grade in any math (or math related) class I have taken. I have always had a love for math topics and classes, so I also enjoy passing on that joy it brings me. That is when I took the initiative to be a qualified university tutor.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you feel that I am the right person for the job. I make it a priority to respond in a timely manner. I charge around $35/hour and am usually available even on the weekends. Pricing and hours can all be negotiated to best fit the situation, so tutoring and help can be achieved as quick and painless as possible.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me, and I hope to hear from you soon!

Elementary Math

I have tutored early math to students and like to emphasize the importance of this introduction to the world of mathematics. A strong understanding of early math sets a good foundation for later math courses. I like to show students helpful tips and tricks to assist the process of understanding.

Homeschool

Algebra 1,

Algebra 1

I passed Algebra 1 Honors before high school and passed with an "A". Used material from this subject throughout other classes (Algebra 2 & 3, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Physics, and even Chemistry). Having passed the class 6 years ago, it is embedded into my memory, and I know some tips and tricks to make it easier.
Geometry,

Geometry

I passed honors Geometry in high school with a 117 as a final grade. Geometry differs from the average math class, so therefore tutoring it should also be different. The new terms and definitions are just as important as knowing the arithmetic, so I like to equalize time to focus on those topics as well.
Prealgebra

Prealgebra

Prealgebra is normally the first shock to students taking math. It is also very important to the future math classes the student will take, so understanding the topics in this subject is key for success. I like to approach this subject with repetition and exercises to clarify any confusing topics, while also talking through each step of the processes.

Trigonometry

Trigonometry

I passed this class in high school with an "A". Also took and passed Algebra 3 to re-enforce understanding. Apply trigonometry skills on a regular basis and even in other classes (Precalculus, Calculus, Engineering, and Physics).
