I have close to twenty years of experience working with children. I was an after-school counselor while in college. I also have 7 years of classroom teaching experience. I have experience teaching 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. Currently, I work part time in reading and math intervention at Congaree Elementary School. I currently work with children in grades 2-5. I'm certified in Elementary Education. I also have two children of my own that I've worked with in reading and math.
I'm very patient, reliable, and energetic. I love helping children achieve their goals and gain confidence in their abilities.

I love teaching ELA. I have experience teaching grades 3-5 in reading and writing. I also have experience tutoring small groups and individuals in grades 2-5.

Lindsay started helping my twin girls over the summer and they have blossomed so much. She is patient, reliable, and understands the girls so well. I would highly recommend her.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I taught 4th and 5th grade for 6 years. Two of those years I taught math. I taught 3rd grade math for a year. I currently work as a math and reading interventionist.
I'm a certified teacher in Elementary Education.
