I graduated from Holy Innocents' Episcopal School, a small private school in Atlanta, in 2000. I received my BA in French in 2004 from Furman University. I relocated to Charleston in 2005 to pursue my M.ED in language education with a concentration in French at Cofc. I completed this program in December 2007. I have also taught two years at Haut Gap Middle School and St. John's High School in Johns Island, SC (Charleston County School District.) In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I will help with speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and culture aspects. I will prepare you for quizzes, tests, and other assessments. I will also proofread, edit, and check homework, essays, and other types of work.
I have studied for numerous tests and successfully completed them. I believe I can help future teachers prepare for them.
