Converse College (Master's)
Hi, I'm Juliet Autenzio Wright, and I would love to help you or your child succeed in the fields of study that I find so fascinating and rewarding. I am a graduate of Converse College where I received my BA in Politics and a Concentration in Business Administration. Upon graduation I worked in the non-profit sector, but I missed the classroom. I returned to Converse and completed my Masters of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Social Studies. The old saying goes, "Elementary teachers teach because they love children, and high school teachers teach because they love their subject." I disagree. I love(d)both!
I am currently certified by the state of SC to teach Secondary Social Studies, grades 9-12. I taught AP US History, US History, Government and Economics, and Global Studies in a local public high school until the birth of my daughter in 2012. I also have a strong background in English and Literature. Although my certification is in secondary education, I have tutored elementary students in volunteer after school programs. I believe that with the proper support, every child can be successful in the classroom and excited about learning! I look forward to assisting you in achieving your educational goals. I have a Concentration in Business Administration from Converse College. I was just one class short of a Minor. I did not take Finance. I took two Marketing classes. Introduction to Marketing and International Business and Marketing and scored an A in both. As a high school teacher, I also taught a Marketing unit in my 12th grade Economics class.
