In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
My Masters degree was 90 quarter hours in Christian Education and Counseling that included theology at an accredited Seminary. I also worked in a church for 21 years as a youth pastor, education director, counselor, asst pastor and Sr. Pastor.
I have been my attending churches small group leader and trainer the past 8 years.
I taught adults and youth at all levels over hundreds of hours of theology, bible studies, and history of religion for most of my adult life.
I took over 30 hours of classes at the undergrad level,
I taught sociology colleges at the community college level.
I designed workshops to adults using Sociological research principles.
I took 12 hours at the masters level in Family Sociology topics also.
