Robert is a JD CPA and MBA licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina. He has spent most of his recent years in regional and national public accounting firms in the Carolinas specializing in tax and accounting needs for mid-sized companies. He is currently a controller for the Babcock Center in Columbia, SC where he oversees accounting, financial reporting, tax, and payroll services for the growing entity. The center providers much needed healthcare services to people who have life-long and developmental disabilities, employs over 800 employees in over 60 locations including doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff, and receives more 30 million in revenue annually. He is also currently a member of The SCACPA Leadership Institute, The SCACPA Editorial Review Board, and a former member of the NCACPA's Young CPA Cabinet. He has delivered CPE lectures at the Emerging Leadership Conference for CPAS as well as the Members in Business and Industry Conference. His writing has been published on the cover of the SC CPA Report Magazine and in the NC Interim Report. He has been a frequent guest speaker and lecturer at various universities in the Carolinas and enjoys speaking on topics related to professional development, the accounting profession, business, and the CPA Exam. In prior years he was also a CPA Exam coach and consultant who trained accountants on strategies that are essential to ensuring success on various parts of the Uniform CPA Examination. Robert has also been fortunate enough to travel the globe during the completion of his academic studies. While completing his MBA he participated in economic research projects while traveling to Xi'an, Beijing, and Shanghai, China; Holland and Amsterdam, of The Netherlands; and London, England. After completing his MBA Robert decided to return to school to obtain his law degree. Robert received his Juris Doctor degree in May of 2016 with honors. If that weren't enough in addition to being a CPA, lawyer, exam coach, and member of various accounting societies he is also a Pastor and a musician. Robert has enjoyed playing the piano and organ for many years and he currently serves as the Senior Pastor of The Rock Church in South Carolina.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
