My name is Anganita and I am a certified math teacher. I work at Renaissance Academy, an alternative school in Rock Hill, SC. On a daily basis, I teach students ranging from Algebra I to Statistics. I have been a math teacher for 13 years and bring an array of knowledge and strategies to assist students in learning.
I enjoy teaching math because all the concepts flow and build upon one another. There is really no memorization required - once you learn the concept it is like second nature. I try to instill its importance with my students in that it helps you organize your thought process and think in a logical order which is a crucial life skill.
I have a very strong background in Algebra I and II, Linear Algebra, and Geometry. I teach these subjects on a daily basis and am very knowledgeable with use of the TI-84 calculator which can make learning a lot easier!
I look forward to hearing from anyone who is eager to learn. Math can be fun and interesting and my approach will make learning easier. My name is Anganita and I am a certified math teacher. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
