Bucky has served eighteen years of his life as a therapist to persons with mental health and addictive disease, as well as sixteen years as an RN with a specialization as a psychiatric nurse, treating and healing people with mental health and addiction disorders. He also has served as a minister of counseling in churches for 8 years. He recently has published two books which have served as an inspiration to countless individuals, offering them hope and guidance for their lives.
He recently earned his Ph.D which has given him the opportunity to serve people in the field of grief resolution through the counseling center which he founded. His whole life he has lived up to the best of the ideals of teaching and has selflessly offered himself to others in their time of need.
He has experience in teaching Anatomy and Physiology, taught junior high school students in English, and has worked for several years in Communications, both as educator and therapist. He was a peer tutor to fellow students while nursing school.
I fell in love with the complexities of the human body while studying Anatomy and Physiology during nursing school.
I received my bachelors degree in Communications and while working on a master's degree took 15 hours credit in English/Communications/Public Speaking.
I love sharing my knowledge of various disciplines with students who need help with attaining their own personal educational achievements. I am not only competent in many areas, but also demonstrate compassion and understanding to those whom I teach. I have had to use advanced mathematics and statistics in many classes and in many jobs that I I have held throughout my career. For several positions that I have held I have had to Mentor new employees, some for as long as six months. When I was in nursing school I ran 3 study groups tutoring fellow colleagues through the complicated coursework that we were taking. I have a passion for excellence and accuracy and believe that my personality lends itself well to being an excellent tutor.
College biology courses included General Biology, 8 credit hours in Anatomy and Physiology. I have 8 credit hours in Microbiology, and a course in Cellular Physiology.
While in undergraduate school I worked in a private school and arts academy as a 2nd and 3rd grade combination teacher for 3 years. Following the third year I taught a 5th grade class.
During undergraduate school I took 12 credit hours in education, three of which were in student teaching.
I have a Master of Arts in Religion degree which I received from Lancaster Theological Seminary and a PhD which I received from the Esoteric Theological Seminary.
I have served as pastor of a church for 3 years and as a minister of counseling in a church for 7 years.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from High Point University in theatre arts. Additionally, I completed 30 credit hours in a 36 credit hour master of arts program at Wake Forest University.
I have directed several plays and other kinds of productions throughout my life. Additionally I created a community theater in my hometown and served as its director for the first three years of its operation.
