I have a Master's degree in psychology. I have all of my graduate level text books and would be happy to tutor graduates and undergraduates in psychology.
I am currently a therapist at South Carolina Early Autism Project. I have experience working with children with special needs, such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, Aspergers and dyslexia. English, grammar, phonics and reading are my most proficient subjects for children and adolescents, but I can also tutor in basic math. I also tutor adults in the same subjects.
As a psychology major I have excellent communication skills and lots of patience working with children. I create lesson plans specific to each child's needs and go over them with parents to ensure I fully understand the child's strengths and weaknesses and where he or she needs the most help. I also use a system of rewards for improvement to help encourage the child and reinforce studying. For adolescents and adults we work together to structure tutoring sessions in a way that will maximize benefits the student will receive.
My fee is negotiable. I understand everyone's circumstances are different and I am more than willing to negotiate a reasonable fee based on what you can afford.
Thank you for reading my profile and I hope to work with you in the future.

She's made an 180 degree turn around with my son.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have extensive experience with different types of resumes, curricula vitae, cover letters and thank you letters for prospective employers. I can also help you choose the career you are most interested in based on your degree or degree interests if you are thinking about going to college. I have taken classes in Career Counseling and have experience with the Meyers-Briggs and Self Directed Search to help if you are looking for a new career or just aren't sure what you want to do.
As a graduate of a Master's program I have a lot of experience in the best way to apply, succeed and graduate from college. I can help you tailor a course of study that best fits your needs financially, academically and in the shortest time period. I can also give career advice based on your major and what kind of career you are looking for after graduation. I can help develop a resume, cover letter and currculum vitae for higher education.
I can help elementary school children to learn the subjects for the CRCT exam and if they just need some extra help to stay caught up in class. I have a Master's degree and am very proficient in advanced reading, English, math, social studies and science. As a psychologist I am very patient with younger children and use a system of positive reinforcement and rewards to help them feel proud of their academic improvement and achievements.
